Patients with nociceptive, psychogenic pain and anxiety secondary to wound manipulation achieved a high level of patient satisfaction and improved clinical outcomes with an absorbent soft silicone antimicrobial exudate transfer foam dressing. Less versatile dressings were eliminated resulting in cost savings.
